Last night I shared a meal with the Al-Hariri family, who fled Syria, to let them know that there's a place in Rhode Island for everyone. I met them last year, not long after they arrived in Rhode Island. Their story, and their light and strength through difficult times, is an inspiration- and a reminder that we can't lose sight of those fleeing oppression.(Gina Raimondo, Cranston Patch, February 2, 2017).Pol Light does not endorse political candidates. We present a brighter side to politics when they are found on either side of the aisle. We don't have to agree with all of a person's politics to recognize these bright moments.
